Rich has enjoyed fishing most of his life, fishing many places throughout the country from the Pacific coast to the mountains of Vermont. Moving to Florida in the nineties he discovered using kayaks to fish and explore areas that were not accessible by any other means, particularly many backcountry areas. The 10,000 islands and the Everglades is an extremely vast area offering endless places to not only fish but to also explore and enjoy the wilderness and wildlife.
Rich has now guided fishing out of kayaks for the last five years working from the Naples area to Goodland down through the coastal Everglades. Services include teaching newcomers the ropes of kayak fishing to rigging boats, etc., to leading the more experienced anglers targeting specific species of fish. Main fish species targeted are Snook, Tarpon, Redfish and Speckled Sea Trout using mostly light tackle, including spin and fly and using all artificial baits.
