For the full Sea Grape tour travel from the Tamiami Trail down to Everglades City by way of Sea Grape Dr to Halfway Creek. Sea Grape splits between Sawgrass Prairie and 
Mangrove Tunnel and Forests. This Northern section of Halfway Creek was blocked for a while with downed trees but has cleared up since.
Beginning with a large Mangrove Tunnel and opening up to the sawgrass prairies you parallel the Turner River West of it. Once through the Sawgrass region you enter the tunnels again as you weave your way to the lower Halfway Creek and head West back to Glades Haven.
You can also do a 3 hour tour which launches and ends at Sea Grape with a shuttle ride to and from included. For this tour you will travel down through a variety of different 
size Mangrove tunnels to the Sawgrass region where you can keep you eyes out for Heron, Ibis, Woodstork and the possible American Alligator (be very quiet though, if they see you before you see them they will most likely hide until you are gone). Then we'll paddle back to the launch to head back to Glades Haven.
Pricing and Other Information:
Tours are $189 per person for a 5-6 hour tour. This includes the boat, your guide, and a shuttle to the launch. The 3 hour tour is $119 per person and includes the boat, your guide and a shuttle to and from the launch.
Tours leave at 9am or 1pm. Generally there is a better chance of a greater abundance of Wildlife being on the water earlier as less people on on the water disturbing them.

Recommended Dress:
Synthetic clothing is the best to wear as it dries quickly and breathes well. Sunscreen and a hat are also recommended as the Florida Sun is usually shining. Bringing a bottle of water is also recommended.
Scheduling:
Tours can be done any day of the week. We request a 12 hour notice for scheduling a tour so that we can gaurantee your guide. If you have a last minute request give us a call anyway and we'll try our best to secure you a guide.
