Full Moon Tour
Isles of Capri & Halfway Creek
Join us from either the Isles of Capri or Glades Haven as we paddle South West Florida under the full moon.
Paddling from Capri we leave from our Private Beach and paddle South towards the Gulf. Launching just after sunset you paddle in Twilight down Capri Pass to Sea Oast island. We'll build a small fire on the island while enjoying a drink or snack. As you paddle back on calm night you might just hear the dolphins coming up for air before you can see them. Everything gets a little more quiet at night and your senses will heighten. See how many things you can pick out without seeing.
Leaving from Everglades City you paddle South to the mouth of Halfway Creek. Paddling under Mangrove canopies is like nothing else. Listen to the sound of the Everglades as you creep through the moderately sized tunnels. Sounds travel much further at night and you'll be able to hear birds calling from all around you. The only other sound is that of your paddle and boat through the water. Watch as the moon glistens on the water and the Mangrove leaves reflect off the moonlight. A very peaceful tour.
Pricing and Other Information:
Tours are $69 per person for the 3 hour tour which inlcudes your boat and the guide. Full Moon Tours generally leave at 7pm. Halfway Creek tours leave from Glades Haven Marina in Everglades City. Capri tours leave from the Capri Fish House on the Isles of Capri.

Synthetic clothing is the best to wear as it dries quickly and breathes well. Bringing a bottle of water is also recommended.
