Camping Suggestions
Here are some suggested areas to camp. These are all outside of the park and DO NOT require a permit to camp. All areas are available year round.
Keewaydin Island Gulf Side
Launch Locations
- Isles of Capri Beach
- Marco River Bridge
- Shell Island Rd.
Keewaydin is one of the top 5 Beaches in the USA. 10 mile long stretch of beautiful wihte sand beach. Around marker # 46 there is a small sandy shore with a path leading towards the Gulf side of the island. Portage across or do the 5 mile paddle from the tip to experience beach camping without the people or boats around you.

Brush Island
Launch Locations
- Little Bar Restaurant in Goodland
- Goodland Bridge 
Brush Island is an island with a completely beach covered West side. Enjoy fishing, camping and day paddles around this area of the 10,000 Islands. From Goodland head out Coon Key Pass and when you round Marker # 8 head West towards the beach on Brush.

Cape Romano
Launch Locations:
- Caxambas Pass Boat Ramp
- Goodland Bridge
- Little Bar Restaurant in Goodland
Cape Romano and Kice Island are two 
spectacular ares to camp. The Gulf side is coated with white sandy beaches and offers multiple inlets and bays to explore. Watch the beautiful sunsets as you look out West over the Gulf with nothing to hinder your view. Paddle along the Gulf side till you find your perfect piece of beach or paddle through Blind Pass.

Sea Oat Island
Launch Locations:
- Isles of Capri
Beach
- Marco River Bridge
Sea Oat Island is a bordering island to
Keewaydin Island and has the same spectacular view, just a little closer to your laucnh location. Sea Oat sports a small beach inside and a long stretch of open beach on the Gulf side. Take your pick.
